Are you looking for an exciting and creative new challenge? Do you have experience in POS 2D/ 3D design? If so, our client a forward thinking Design POS and Manufacturing Company wants to hear from you.
Your role will be to convert concepts and visual designs into practicable, safe and robust production designs, which embody the aesthetics and functionality required by the client. You will ensure these production designs can be made within the budgets estimated and produced with maximum accuracy and within the timescales required.
You will strive to reduce the cost per project and be actively seeking out and be proposing alternate, cost effective materials, production processes and suppliers.
You’ll be required to produce finished drawings complete with all detail required to allow purchasing and manufacture without further reference to yourself. In addition to this you your role will also entail attending and completing surveys at client sites’ and provide detailed accurate information to the production department.
To be successful in this role you will be proficient in the use of AutoCad or similar and be competent with MS Office suite. You will have excellent attention to detail, be highly innovative and be able to work under pressure.
You will have previous experience of POS 2D/ 3D design preferably within a product engineering/ design industry.
