    We’re delighted to be recruiting a 6-month fixed term contract for a Part-time Bookkeeper on behalf of a highly regarded marketing technology business, known for providing innovative marketing solutions to a wide range of well-known brand names.

    The successful candidate will work as part of a friendly and industrious team. You will play a key role within the finance function, working closely with and supporting the Financial Controller.

    This is a hybrid role and will be working 2 days in the office and 1 day from home.

     

    Duties and responsibilities:

    • Supporting Financial Controller in the preparation of month end accounts and reports to the board
    • Support the processing of sales invoices, receipts and payments
    • Bank reconciliations
    • Completing VAT returns
    • Weekly Cashflow Analysis
    • Overseeing the accounts payable process in the UK and Poland Posting Manual Ap Journals
    • Posting Bank Journals Weekly
    • Weekly Bank Reconciliation
    • Balance sheet Reconciliations
    • Completion of cashback billing reporting on a weekly basis
    • Monthly/Quarterly ONS Reporting Support
    • Monthly Accrual and Prepayment
    • Month End Journal Posting
    • Cover for monthly payroll edits
    • Dealing with financial paperwork and filing

     

    Skills and experience required:

    • Previous bookkeeping / technical accounting experience managing sizeable client deposits
    • Preferable experience of dealing with large retailers
    • Experience with MS Dynamics desirable
    • Ability to work in an organisation that is changing and adapting
    • Commitment to meeting challenging and demanding deadlines with a flexible approach
    • Ability to exercise judgment and work without close supervision
    • Strong interpersonal, organisational and time management skills
    • Commercially aware, understanding and anticipating the needs senior management

     

    Hours:

    • 7.5 per day 8.00am – 4.00pm OR 8.30am – 4.30pm OR 9.00am – 5.00pm (1/2-hour lunch)
    • Hybrid working pattern: 2 days in the office, 1 day from home

     

    Salary and benefits:

    • £28,000 – £30,000 pro-rata
