    We’re delighted to be recruiting on behalf of an established company, who are looking for a skilled HR Administrator / Assistant with strong communication skills and a can-do attitude.

    This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience working within a fast-moving environment, with key involvement in a wide variety of HR related issues.

     

    Duties and responsibilities:

    • To deal with telephone and email enquiries in a confident and timely manner
    • To process status changes to workforce or employee details in the HR System
    • To produce, collate and issue necessary changes to terms and conditions to employees
    • Chase up sick notes, self-certificates and return to work interviews and raise any long-term sickness absence to the relevant Senior HR Advisor
    • Handle all administration on a daily basis for all relevant activity; starters, leavers and operational changes
    • Responsible for exit interviews
    • To participate in mail merge, data collection, HR Monthly reports and HR system updates
    • Provide assistance in the maintenance and administration of benefits
    • Produce and format starters, leavers and changes reports to be sent to the outsourced payroll provider
    • Collate overtime payments to be sent to the outsourced payroll provider within the agreed timescale

     

    Skills and experience required:

    • Previous experience gained within a HR environment is essential
    • Proven organisation and prioritisation skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Proactive and skilled communicator who can achieve desired understanding and results through writing and/or talking to internal and external stakeholders
    • Able to deal with sensitive and private information with strict confidentiality
    • Strong IT skills including intermediate level Excel

     

    Hours of work:

    • Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5.00pm

     

    Salary and benefits:

    • £22,000 – £24,000
