We’re proud to be working with an award-winning company who are looking for a Finance Assistant to help them during a busy period for their organisation.
The successful applicant will have a good working knowledge Microsoft Excel as well as having previous Finance experience within Sales ledger / general ledger and analysis of data. My client is seeking someone who is immediately available to start work and will initially be until the end of January 2021 but could possibly be extended.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Maintain and update the sales ledger
- Financial reporting and analysis of commission statements on Excel
- Investigating variances on sales reports
- Ad-hoc financial data analysis and assisting in other areas
Skills and experience required:
- Working towards or holding the AAT qualification
- Strong Excel skills with knowledge of Pivot tables and Vlookups
- Good working knowledge of Xero would be advantageous
- Numerate with a good eye for detail
- Ability to analyse financial figures
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment and support other areas when needed
Hours of Work:
- 9.00am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday
Salary and benefits:
- £12.00 per hour
- 20 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays
