Welcome to September – new office celebration

Hello from our new home! So sorry I’m a bit late with my blog this month. With the end of the holiday season, the kids going back to school and our new office, it’s been a bit hectic to say the least.

So, it’s finally happened, after what felt like a very long time of planning, decision making, painting and cleaning, we are in and working from our lovely new offices. We moved in as planned over the weekend of the 8th August and were able to open our doors on Monday 10th August. I can’t believe that was 4 weeks ago already.

It has been such a team effort with so many people pitching in with painting, cleaning, packing and with the physical move. It’s been an emotional journey for me. Having people who work for me, giving up their weekends and evenings to scrape floors, paint walls, load vans etc, has been so heart-warming. I feel extremely lucky to have such a committed and motivated team.

Virtual tour:

I mentioned in my last blog that we will be having a proper ‘office warming’ party, and now we’re settled we can start the planning, so watch this space. It will probably be close to Christmas so we've got time to finish hanging pictures etc. In the meantime, would you like to have a virtual tour of our new home?

Here it is: 42 Coventry Road, Market Harborough, Leicestershire, LE16 9BZ

How far we’ve come:

Do you remember how it looked when we first got it? What a difference!

How to find us:

Not sure where our new office is, we have a google map here to help you find us: map

The gallery:

We’ve got a whole load of photos on our Pinterest page if you’d prefer to have a look at photos instead of YouTube.

Press coverage:

Seeing yourself in print is always a thrill and we have featured in The Harborough Mail and the Leicester Mercury over the last few weeks. Thank you to both of them for helping to spread our good news:

Big thanks…

I’d like to personally thank a few other people and companies who have helped get us into Coventry Road:

Rockingham Construction – James Barby, owner of Rockingham Construction and his team, have been our main contractor on the renovation and they have been great.

Tempest Supply & Services – Kim Tempest our expert flooring supplier and fitter has been fantastic.

Bill Chase – our wonderful painter and decorator and his team did a great job in a very short space of time.

Thanks so much for your commitment to getting us in on time.

That's it for another month. Next month’s blog will be a little less self-indulgent.

Have a great September.
