Client Accountant

An opportunity has arisen for a Client Accountant to join an established chartered surveyors and property consultants with offices throughout the UK. You will join their team at the Market Harborough office but will liaise with other offices throughout their network.

You will be responsible for specific ledger balances and associated financial transactions, reporting the financial data directly to the client.

My client is interested in reviewing applications from both experienced candidates and those who are looking to grow and develop within an accounting role.

As a Client Accountant, your responsibilities will include:

• Raising of invoices
  Daily banking and processing receipts onto client accounts
• Preparation of supplier payment runs and issuing remittance advice notes
• Processing of payments via internet banking
  Supplier query resolution
• Bank reconciliations of client bank accounts
• Supplier statement reconciliations
• Credit control via email / phone
• Sorting and filing all related documents and supplier invoices
• Managing the Client relationship to ensure Client needs and requirements are met
• General administration – filing of documents / taking calls

We are looking for a Client Accountant who has the following skills and experiences:

• Previous transactional accounting / bookkeeping experience
• Good working knowledge of Excel (pivot tables / VLOOKUP’s) and experience using an accountancy software
• Strong relationship building skills as you will be liaising with Surveyors / clients
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritise workloads
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work in a process driven environment
• Helpful team member, happy to provide support to colleagues in other areas where required

You will be working Monday-Friday, 09:00-17:30.
