    Job description:

    We’re looking for Commercial Manager to join a growing agency offering a range of creative services. The role will include bringing new services and channels to market, exploring new technology, management tools and operating methods. You’ll report to and work closely with the Senior Leadership Team and have a voice to help shape their continued growth whilst growing and developing your career within a forward-thinking organisation.

    You will be based in Nottinghamshire, onsite at the head office and be rewarded with a competitive salary and benefits package including 25 days holiday, free parking, employee wellbeing initiatives and salary sacrifice benefits scheme. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am – 5.30pm.

     

    Duties and responsibilities:

    • To guide the business to remain commercially healthy, advising the Senior Leadership Team on future propositions, competitors and commercial models
    • Responsible for ensuring the business operates efficiently and effectively, you will be analysing commercial data to inform and influence decisions on current and future business
    • You’ll monitor the sales pipeline, work in progress and ensure the correct levels of governance as in place
    • Forecasting and budgeting are key to this role
    • Working with the client account teams to develop business plans and contracts to look at long-term business sustainability and growth
    • Negotiating contracts with suppliers and customers and exploring commercial and operating models

     

    Skills and experience required:

    • Experience in a similar commercial management or procurement background, ideally with retail clients
    • Strong business acumen, financial literacy, analytical and problem solving skills
    • An eye for trends to maximise opportunities or combat problems before they arise
    • Solid knowledge of performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes
    • Excellent organisational and influencing skills
    • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
    • Resilient and calm, but energetic with a strong personal impact.
