    We’re proud to be recruiting on behalf of a well-reputed local 3PL business who are currently seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to join their friendly clerical team.

    In this fast-paced and interesting role, the successful candidate will use their sound understanding of logistics processes to deliver the seamless administration of all order-fulfilment.

    The company is looking for applicants with excellent attention to detail, who enjoy problem-solving and demonstrate a flair for prioritisation and organisation.

     

    Duties and responsibilities:

    • Processing customer orders from initial order through to dispatch
    • Performing daily checks and data entry on WMS
    • Checking and updating Sterling
    • Allocating orders and passing to the warehouse for completion
    • Updating the diary when customers request a delivery or collection
    • Printing shipping labels
    • Maintaining and accurately filing all customer paperwork
    • Ensuring compliance at all times with all applicable Standard Operating Procedures, Health and Safety and Quality policies

     

    Skills and experience required:

    • Extensive previous experience in a contracts administration role, ideally in a logistics or shipping environment.
    • Sound working knowledge of WMS systems.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
    • IT proficient, with good working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel.
    • Strong numeracy, attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Good organisational and time management skills.
    • Takes an analytical, problem-solving approach.
    • Able to work in a busy environment as an effective member of the team.
    • Self-motivated and demonstrates initiative.

     

    Hours of work

    • Monday to Friday
    • 8.30am – 5.30pm (1 hour lunch break)

     

    Salary and benefits:
