    We’re currently recruiting an experienced part-time Credit Controller on behalf of a UK and Ireland distributor, a subsidiary of a larger international organisation. The organisation is seeing high growth and as such are now seeking a part-time credit controller to join their small finance team.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for processing of sales invoices and completing credit control on client accounts from major retailers to bespoke stores.

    This position offers the opportunity to work hybrid (2 days a week from home) after the initial training period.


    Duties and responsibilities:

    • Processing of sales invoices
    • Setting up new accounts and gaining credit limit verification
    • Reconciliation of client accounts
    • Client query resolution
    • Taking ownership of the debtor ledger and chasing debt by telephone and email and reducing debtor days
    • Escalating bad debts to senior management / debt recovery specialist
    • Control of credit limits


    Skills and experience required:

    • Previous experience of credit control in a B2B environment
    • A high level of IT user competence, particularly in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP’s & Formulas) is desired with practical experience of using accountancy software systems (Microsoft Dynamics NAV 365 desirable)
    • An approachable and engaging communicator
    • Helpful team member, happy to provide support to colleagues in other areas where required


    Hours of work:

    • Monday to Friday 25 – 30 hours per week (flexible on the days / hours worked)


    Salary and benefits:

    • £25,000 pro-rata
    • Hybrid working (2 days from home)
