As the Production Project Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless execution and delivery of projects for a range of clients, ensuring that they are delivered on time and to the highest standards. - £42,000 – £50,000
- Working hours Monday to Thursday 9.00am-5.30pm, Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm
- Free parking
- 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays – allowance increases with length of service
Duties and responsibilities:
- Reporting directly to the Head of Production, you will be responsible for managing and delivering multiple projects of medium to high complexity, in line with customer expectations and SLAs
- Leading programme management, reporting and risk management, with a proactive approach to finding solutions and making decisions
- Co-ordinating, administering and activating production projects, with a focus on quality
- Collaborating effectively with external suppliers, partners and internal colleagues
- Identifying and eradicating project risks, ensuring key priorities are dealt with in the most practical order
- Overseeing daily QC compliance, reacting quickly to any obstacles and challenges
- Creating supplier POs and handling budget management
- Analysing project progress and, when necessary, adapting scope / timelines and costs
- Producing quality check reports (internal and external)
Skills and experience required:
- Extensive experience in a similar Project Management role within a retail design and installation business
- Demonstrates commercial acumen and an in-depth knowledge of the retail design sector, including trends, competition and industry developments
- Sound technical and practical knowledge of design, manufacturing processes and materials
- Flexibility to manage and adapt to fast-paced changes and deadline
- Exceptional attention to detail with proven problem-solving abilities
- Ability to follow standard processes and identify potential issues, understanding when to escalate
- Skilled at carrying a project through its critical path, reliably meeting deadlines in line with client SLAs
- IT proficient, with a good knowledge of MS Excel
- Self-motivated, with a “can-do” approach to any challenge, and a commitment to finding solutions
- A positive, proactive communicator, adept at negotiation
- Good organisation and time-management skills
