Our client, a professional membership organisation working within the education sector are currently recruiting for a Professional Development and Operations Executive to join their small, friendly team on a temporary basis with a view to going permanent.
The successful candidate will enjoy working within a supportive team environment and will assist with the day to day event activities and initiatives.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Promoting courses and events
- Coordinating all event information on the website
- Preparing all event and course documentation and sending these out
- Booking courses and dealing with any course cancellations
- Dealing with and responding to any enquiries
- Assisting with conference planning, delivery and other events as required
- Working closely with the PD & Operations Manager and assisting with any duties
- Any other administrative duties as required
Skills and experience required:
- Previous experience in a similar role with be preferred, although training will be given
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Work well within a small team environment
- Strong written communication skills, including email and other correspondence
- Customer focused approach
- Professional, friendly and approachable
- Proficient in MS Office packages as well as Zoom
- Willing to travel within the UK if required
Hours of work:
- 20 – 30 hours per week Monday to Friday
Salary and benefits:
- £20,000 pro rata – £10.39 per hour
- On-site car parking
- Hybrid working available
