    On behalf of an award-winning Nottinghamshire creative agency, we are looking for a talented Senior Account Manager who is dedicated to delivering an outstanding client experience and building prosperous ongoing business relationships with a range of high-profile brand names.

    The successful applicant will demonstrate the ability to think both commercially and strategically, continually growing your skills, knowledge and ideas. You’ll have a flair for identifying new business opportunities within your existing accounts and developing them to increase business.

    We’re looking for a true team-player with a proven track record in creative account management, coupled with an up-to-the-minute industry knowledge, who can’t wait to delight clients by devising and implementing projects that deliver results.

    Duties and responsibilities:

    • Developing strong and profitable business relationships, quickly gaining client confidence and trust
    • Devising and implementing excellent creative solutions that exceed clients’ expectations
    • Taking responsibility for all proactive day-to-day account management; making things happen and thinking ahead at all times
    • Ensuring all clients are happy and satisfied and resolve any issues whilst continuously looking for ways of delivering improved service
    • Building a detailed understanding of each client’s marketing strategy and brief
    • Regularly presenting ideas and plans to clients
    • Spotting opportunities to develop new projects and highlighting feedback to the team
    • Proactively measuring and delivering ROI for every client project; leveraging ROI conversation to attract repeat business
    • Creating and maintaining client development plans
    • Continually looking for ways to develop strategic awareness and expand client briefs
    • Creating (or supervising and monitoring) WIPs and status reports
    • Carefully monitoring numbers and billing; driving efficiency and profitability for your POD
    • Implementing a video planning service with key accounts
    • Building and managing a retainer-based service offering
    • Networking effectively within existing client accounts to grow contacts and attract new business
    • Mentoring and training Account Managers, Executives and Interns

     

    Skills and experience required:

    • Extensive proven experience as a creative agency-based Account or Project Manager, responsible for key B2C or B2B accounts
    • Applies a forward-thinking approach to all aspects of work, displayed by a positive, proactive, “can-do” attitude
    • Detailed knowledge of digital marketing techniques and tactics, with a solid understanding of creative and technical concepts and ideas
    • Excellent project management skills
    • Strong commercial skills including budgeting and pricing projects
    • Confident and engaging public speaker, with experience pitching creative ideas to clients
    • Excellent communication and listening skills
    • IT proficient, with a good knowledge of MS Office
    • Willing to explore bold ideas and turn them into reality
    • Takes a well-organised approach to prioritising a busy workload
    • Enjoys working with team-mates and customers to build long-lasting professional relationships
    • Demonstrates an enthusiasm to continuously learning and developing skills

     

    Hours of work:

    • Monday to Thursday: 9.00am – 5.30pm, Friday: 9.00am – 5.00pm (37 hour working week)
    • 1 hour lunch break
    • There may be some work beyond normal hours to meet deadlines

     

    Salary and benefits:

    • £40,000
