    On behalf of an award-winning Nottinghamshire creative agency, we are looking for a talented Video Producer with excellent project management skills, who is dedicated to developing a deep understanding of each client’s objectives and meeting them with exceptional results.

    The successful applicant will work closely with Account Managers, Motion Designers and the Production crew, and will take responsibility for the management of video projects from planning stage to delivery and beyond. You’ll be familiar with creative development, scripting, filming, motion design, animation, post production and activation and will demonstrate creative flair as well as confidence and clarity when presenting your ideas to clients.

    We’re looking for a true team-player who is talented, imaginative and passionate about video production, with real expertise and a deep understanding of end-to-end video production processes.

    Duties and responsibilities:

    • Acting as a key point of contact for all production-related matters
    • Providing expert guidance to sales and account management teams, drawing on your depth and breadth of production experience
    • Leading the producer team, maintaining a high level of communication on project status, resource needs and operational updates
    • Collaborating with the creative team in the development and production of every project
    • For animated content, in collaboration with creative lead: managing key stages such as briefing, scripting, previsualisation, storyboarding, animation, voice casting and sound design
    • For filmed content: managing the pre-production and production of shoots, including setup and filming, contributors, locations and follow through into post-production
    • For social content: managing timely production of all assets according to digital strategies
    • Maintaining excellent, professional relationships with clients, internal teams and freelancers
    • Collaborating with the Operations Manager to ensure that productions are resourced adequately and run smoothly

     

    Skills and experience required:

    • Extensive career history in video production
    • Managing clients from different scales of business and with different levels of understanding of video production processes
    • Leading and mentoring teams
    • Narrative development and/or production with a keen awareness of the key principles of storytelling, including managing script-writers
    • Planning, budgeting, scheduling and managing live action as well motion graphics and animated video content
    • Briefing, casting and managing acting and voice-over talent
    • Coordinating and overseeing all key stages of live action and animated video production

    In addition, candidates should be able to provide evidence / examples of the following skills on their CV and / or at interview:

    • A developed creative aesthetic and an affinity for the great work that the agency creates
    • Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and show leadership at every project stage from ideation to execution
    • Maintains an up to date awareness of the latest industry trends and is always curious to explore new creative possibilities
    • Comfortable presenting ideas to the internal team as well as to clients
    • Proactive and well-organised in busy environments, with great problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail

     

    Hours of work:

    • Monday to Thursday: 9.00am – 5.30pm, Friday: 9.00am – 5.00pm (37 hour working week)
    • A hybrid working option is available

     

    Salary and benefits:

    • £42,000 – £45,000
