Job Description

Our client, a fast-growing creative marketing agency with offices across the UK, offering a full range of integrated services, including; content marketing, press and TV advertising, branding, digital and direct marketing, graphic design, PR, corporate communications, social media, SEO, integrated campaigns and web design, are looking for an experienced and self-motivated Account Manager to develop relationships and drive growth within one of their largest clients.

The key role of the Account Manager is to be the client's main point of contact, offering excellent
service and ensuring that business is carried out professionally, profitably and efficiently. The
Account Manager will liaise with the Production Department, Creative/Copy team and the Studio Manager ensuring efficient communication of client needs, objectives and outcomes.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Promote, develop and extend the agency's capabilities to clients
  • Build strong relationships with clients, advising on matters relating to client projects
  • Ensure the account team provides service excellence for the client to help communicate the client's work requirements to the appropriate internal departments
  • To manage and update an appropriate Work in Progress system that will enable all team members to accurately check the status of client jobs
  • To ensure that all work is progressed smoothly, economically and within agreed timescales
  • To undertake client and competitor research as required
  • Attend on site visits and gather relevant details, as required

Skills and experience required:

  • At least 4 years' experience in a similar agency role
  • Relevant degree in marketing and communications is preferred
  • A strong focus on accuracy, effective communication (clients, in-house teams and third parties)
  • Excellent project management skills and an ability to multi-task
  • Creative thinking (to be able to successfully present ideas to clients)
  • Inspire confidence, credibility and trust in our work to all clients
  • Ability to adapt to different situations and to be flexible
  • Self-confidence, initiative and personal organisation
  • Experience and an understanding of the UK residential housing market is desirable
