Job Description

Our client is seeking an Accounts Administrator on a part time basis (21 hours per week), to join their rapidly growing organisation following the launch of a new division. To be successful in this role you will need to be committed, reliable and hardworking with a positive and proactive approach to work. In return you can expect to work in a busy role within a friendly, team-orientated environment.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Matching, batching and coding of purchase ledger invoices (high volume) onto a bespoke system
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Processing credit card receipts and expense claims
  • Query resolution
  • Filing and other adhoc duties

Skills and experience required:

  • Good working knowledge of accountancy software (Sage 50 would be advantageous)
  • Previous experience of working within a high volume purchase ledger environment
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Organised and self-motivated, with strong interpersonal skills, able to work in a small team


  • Part-time hours: 21 hours per week (can be across 3, 4 or 5 days)

Salary and benefits:

  • £18,000 - £22,000 (pro-rata)
  • 25 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays (pro-rata)
