Job Description
Our client is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their small friendly accounts team. The successful candidate will be completing a varied role which will include:
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Sales ledger / purchase ledger
- Processing of expenses
- Monthly journals
- Reconciliations
- Fixed asset register
- Pre-payments and accruals
- VAT returns
- Daily banking
- After training, assistance in the production of management accounts
Skills and experience required:
- Over 2 years' experience within a similar accounts role
- Experience of accounting software is required
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Ability to prioritise
- Excellent communication skills
Salary and benefits:
- Up to £20,000
