Job Description
Our client is seeking a part time Accounts Assistant to join their small friendly accounts team. The successful candidate will be completing a varied role which will include accounts and HR duties.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Matching, batching and coding of purchase ledger invoices
- Supplier statement reconciliation
- Preparing payment runs
- Mileage and expenses reconciliation and analysis
- Credit card reconciliation
- Query resolution
- Management of employee annual leave / processing of payslips
- Creation of new employee records
- General adhoc duties including filing, answering calls and responding to emails
Skills and experience required:
- Previous accounts administration experience (minimum 2 years)
- Good working knowledge of an accountancy software - Sage Line 50 desirable and Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Ability to prioritise
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
Hours:
- 20 hours per week (Monday - Friday)
- 4 hours per day (flexible on the times)
Salary and benefits:
