Job Description

We have a great opportunity for an experienced administrator to work for a  small, friendly and innovative company based near Billesdon in bright and spacious rural offices.

Suitable candidates will have a professional, confident and enthusiastic attitude to work and be willing to take on any tasks required of them.

This is a structured role with many set tasks to work through daily, but due to the nature of the business, it will also be very varied and interesting as you will provide support to a number of teams within the company.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Answering the telephones, dealing with enquiries or referring the caller to the appropriate colleague
  • Greeting clients and visitors
  • Filing and general administrative duties
  • Helping with the samples (dispatches)
  • Supporting Account Managers with the update of product line sheets, customer databases and product information on the CRM database
  • Supporting the merchandising team with labelling and shipping administration
  • Liaising with factories and customers
  • Providing additional support when required to the HR and Accounting teams

Skills and experience required:

  • Extensive prior administrative experience
  • Experience of liaising confidently and effectively with suppliers, customers and colleagues
  • Competent in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills
  • Demonstrates a confident, professional and helpful telephone manner
  • Proficient in the production of clear written correspondence, with grammatical accuracy
  • Respect for confidentiality and integrity
  • Strong organisational skills including proven ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
  • Full Driving Licence with access to own vehicle - you will normally be office based, but there will be times that samples will be needing to be delivered to our customers directly

Hours:

  • Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5.30pm (30 mins lunch)

Salary & benefits:

  • £18,000 - £20,000 per annum
