Our client is seeking a temporary Accounts Assistant to assist them during the holiday period at their offices in Market Harborough. This will be for a duration of 4 - 6 weeks and the successful applicant will be provided with 2 weeks worth of training on their bespoke accounting system.
This an Immediate start.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Transactional accounting (sales and purchase ledger)
- Bank Reconciliations (high volume)
- Month-end procedures
Skills and experience required:
- Minimum of 3 years previous accounts experience within a similar position
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accountancy software
- A strong self-starter who is motivated and has the ability to work independently
- 00am - 5.00pm (1/2 hour lunch) / 8.30am - 5.00pm (1 hour lunch)
- 5 hour working week
Salary and benefits:
- £10.80 per hour
