Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen with a Market Harborough based company. The Contact Centre Sales Manager has the responsibility to proactively manage and support the Business Account Management team, ensuring that quarterly sales targets are achieved. Primarily desk based, the Contact Centre Sales Manager will be required to manage and develop existing and prospective customers, ensuring the customer base is kept in contract.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • To lead and motivate the sales team to achieve the targets set
  • Develop customer relationships and ensure customers are retained
  • To identify and prospect potential business to business customers
  • To identify sales opportunities with existing accounts
  • Deliver the required volume of effective coaching where required, by providing regular feedback using reporting resources available, providing quarterly 121 reviews
  • Develop the sales team to increase sales and performance by offering advice and arranging product and leadership training where necessary, continuously driving the need to exceed expectations
  • Ensure the team consistently excel in delivering customer satisfaction
  • Maintain CRM system

Skills and experience required:

  • Must have experience and a proven track record of call centre/telesales management, ideally having worked in a technical product related industry
  • Strong leadership and people management skills are a necessity
  • To develop coaching and training skills to improve performance in the team
  • Confident, results driven and able to function independently or as part of a team
  • Strong communication, time management and organisational competencies are necessary to maintain customer satisfaction
  • Succinct analytical skills to identify customer needs and can propose a solution of benefit to the customer
  • Must have good literacy knowledge and skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Must have a full, clean UK driving license

Hours of work:

  • Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm

Salary and benefits:

  • £28,000 + bonus + benefits
