Job Description

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client based in Corby who specialise in the manufacturing and fabrication of PCV and aluminium glass window frames and panes. Due to changes within the business they are currently looking to recruit a Customer Service Advisor on an initial 6-month fixed term contract with the potential for this to be extended further. This is a fantastic opportunity to get on board with a family run business that has been in trade for over 20 years with an exceptional reputation.

Due to the urgency of the position, we are looking for candidates who are immediately available and meet the following criteria:

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Receiving and dealing with enquiries, orders and queries via the telephone and electronically on email
  • Sending out confirmation of orders providing the customers with eta and despatch dates for orders processed
  • Responding to customer enquiries within a timely manner and following up on the enquires making sure the customer is kept fully up to date at every stage of the enquiry or query
  • Provide customers with pricing information
  • Proactively supporting all customers by communicating and liaising with internal departments
  • Prepare and distribute customer invoices and dealing with any related queries
  • Giving customers realistic timelines
  • Advising customers on available stock on product
  • Point of call for calls as they come through to the main line
  • Meeting and greeting visitors on site
  • Re-listing and re-ordering of products in line with customer expectation and demand
  • Be incredibly accurate when dealing with client orders
  • Liaise with production team leaders out on that factory floor on a regular basis
  • Check stock levels and product specs on the factory floor with team leaders
  • General administration duties such as filing and scanning
  • Matching documents i.e. confirmation paperwork along with a detailed paper trail for each customer order

Hours of work:

  • Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm with 1 hour for lunch

Salary and benefits:
