Job Description

Our client offers a consultative approach in nutrition and lifestyle programmes for their varied customer base. The business has been established for over 30 years and they pride themselves on offering the highest standards of service to their customers.

As the Digital Project Co-ordinator, you'll be involved in every aspect of digital product development, from concept and analysis to design and delivery. You will assist the Digital Manager in planning and managing iterative improvements to existing digital products and delivering entirely new projects

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced marketing and communications team. The successful candidate will need to have experience in a digital role, with strong planning, organisational and digital project management skills.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Assist with the management of digital projects whilst taking a methodical approach, and considering company objectives, resource and assigned budget
  • To support Digital Lead to ensure concepts, objectives, approach and justification of the project are properly defined, agreed and communicated
  • To assist with the management and workflow of a project and ensure all aspects are considered, such as; objectives, brief, budget, resource, concepts/creative, design, coding, testing, communication, launch, and measurement
  • To manage small scale projects with guidance from the Digital Lead and ensure that the project sponsors/team, including any external agencies, are doing all that is required to guarantee the success of the project
  • To assist with liaison between with other departments, projects and initiatives within the organisation, taking into account the needs and contributions of others
  • To liaise with the Digital Lead for budget sign off and assist with ensuring projects remain within budget
  • To assist with troubleshooting and testing of new and existing digital platforms
  • To contribute to monthly reports and updates as required by the Digital Project Lead
  • Effectively support other team members during busy periods
  • To have the desire to adapt to change and learn to manage risk within a project and stick to desired timescales
  • Have the desire to learn how to build and manage effective relationships with key stakeholders and agencies where they are engaged in the planning and development of projects

Skills and experience required:

  • A multi-tasker with the ability to juggle several projects
  • Possess excellent analytical and deductive skills in order to solve daily technical queries reported by users
  • A passion for great websites, apps, UX design and technology in general
  • Close attention to detail
  • Analytical by nature and a problem solver
  • An interest in the latest digital trends
  • IT literate and have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Possess a proactive approach with the ability to respond to change
  • Ability to hit deadlines

Salary and benefits:

  • Up to £23,000
