Job Description

We are currently supporting the recruitment of an Engagement and Communications Administrator to join the Marketing team for our client, a not-for-profit organisation. The successful candidate will support the marketing team with the implementation of the strategic marketing plan.

This is a fixed term 6 month contract position, starting immediately.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Assist with collecting and inputting of information collated during events
  • Drive awareness of the organisation and engagement through regulatory bodies
  • Provide support both internally and externally regarding engagement activities and initiatives
  • Keeping records maintained and updated
  • Gathering information and statistics from various databases and preparing reports
  • Organisation the distribution of marketing collateral to venues for key events
  • Organising travel and hotel accommodation as necessary
  • Providing support pre-events liaising with venues regarding room layouts, confirming numbers, etc.
  • Co-ordination and facilitation during events
  • Handling post event follow up with members and delegates
  • Preparation of presentations

Skills and experience required:

  • Previous experience in a communications or marketing role would be advantageous
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail
  • Experience of maintaining databases and inputting and retrieving data
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and sometimes pressured environment
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge and experience of planning and organising events
  • Able to work with internal and external stakeholders
  • Good team player

Salary and benefits:
