Job Description

Our client, a firm of Financial Advisors with a good local reputation for high quality personal service, is seeking a Financial Services Administrator to support them with their busy workload. The successful candidate will work within this friendly team and support a team of advisors, providing administrative duties such as preparing and submitting applications, arranging client meetings including preparation of quote requests and valuations assisting the department with client management. This will be a busy and varied position and a fantastic opportunity to work in a great environment with fun, hard-working people.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Accurately and efficiently support the team to enable the achievement of targets
  • Preparing information / comparisons for analysis
  • Preparing and submitting applications
  • Arranging client meetings and prepare paperwork
  • Preparing valuations
  • Sending letters of authority
  • Preparation of quote requests
  • Assisting the department with client management
  • Creating and updating reports on Excel
  • First point of contact for all incoming calls / visitors
  • Ad-hoc duties as required

Skills and experience required:

  • Minimum 2 years previous experience as a Financial Services Administrator
  • Working towards Certificate in Financial Planning and Administration advantageous
  • Highly literate & numerate
  • Technically competent with Excel, Word
  • Experience with online financial services platforms
  • Excellent analytical, organisation, time management and prioritising skills

Salary and benefits:
