Job Description

Our client is currently looking for a full-time German Speaking Sales Assistant on a 12-month contract, and due to the nature of the role and the support required, applicants should be immediately available. Successful candidates will be self-motived, driven and passionate about delivering excellent customer service.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Assist the Field Sales Team and Sales Office Manager on a day to day basis ensuring associated administration tasks and customer orders are completed according to set deadlines and customer requirements
  • Main point of contact for all field sales customer service issues. Investigating and resolving issues as appropriate and updating relevant parties
  • Completion of customer orders and process through in-house database
  • Assist in the completion of sales reporting requirements as directed by the Sales Office Manager
  • Key liaison and support for Field Sales staff and Sales Office Manager for all correspondence
  • Assist and resolve any queries received from Field Sales staff
  • Attendance at trade shows as directed by your Manager, including set up, clear down and stand manning
  • Assistance with adhoc projects as directed by your Manager
  • Provide a high level of customer service and look to make improvements wherever possible
  • Generation of orders looking to upsell where possible
  • Progress of ongoing actions, recording and reporting as required to ensure customer order requirements and deadlines are met
  • Completion of administration procedures as directed by the Sales Office Manager and Field Sales staff in accordance with specific customer and product requirements
  • Day to day organisation of work load to ensure accuracy of information and product specifications to ensure timely delivery of orders placed

Skills and experience required:

  • Fluent in German is essential
  • A level or equivalent
  • Must be immediately available
  • Motivated individual
  • Analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Driven and proactive individual
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Literate/ numerate
  • FLT Licences advantage
  • Worked with SAP or similar system
  • Adaptable and flexible

Hours:

Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm (37.5 hours per week)

Salary and benefits:
