Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity to work for a successful and well-established family run company based in the Rutland area. We are looking to recruit an experienced HR and Payroll experience within a fast-paced environment.

You will have excellent communication skills and be able to interact with people at all levels, have good organisational skills and be able to prioritise your workload. In addition, you must have good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, be numerate with good attention to detail and have the initiative to work on your own and as part of a team.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative support within the Human Resources Department
  • Liaise with all departments
  • Responsible for key HR processes for starters, leavers, changes in to the systems
  • Support and maintain database including inputting data, to assist the running of the business
  • Keep employee records up to date
  • General HR and training record administration
  • Ensuring HR systems and paper records are kept up to date
  • Prepare the monthly payroll for two sites
  • Deal with payroll enquires
  • Support introduction process
  • Assist with HR Project when required
  • Provided support with forma meetings
  • General administrative support

Skills and experience required:

  • You will have minimum 2 years' experience in a HR support environment
  • Ideally from a manufacturing environment
  • Must have a CIPD or working towards
  • Proven background in payroll
  • Motivated individual
  • Adaptable and flexible
  • Excellent communication
  • Excellent attention to detail

Hours:

  • Full time Monday - Friday 8.30am-5.30pm (1 hour lunch)

Salary and benefits:

  • £19,000 - £21,000
  • 5 % Pension Contribution
  • 4 x Salary death in service benefit
  • 20 days holidays increase with service to max 25 (1 day per year)
