Job Description

An exciting opportunity within a forward thinking and market leading business to support their ongoing growth. The successful candidate will have a proven track record working as an HR generalist, demonstrating a positive, 'can-do' attitude. Experience in roles requiring a high level of autonomy and self-motivation is essential. The role requires someone who can demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships across the business. The ability to prioritise workloads, manage deadlines and perform under pressure is an important aspect of the role.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • HR topics such as Employee Relations, Training, Benefit and Reward, Change and Forecasting etc.
  • Develop HR strategies to support the delivery of organisational goals and objectives
  • Health & Safety - ensure attention to safety within the HR team and associated activities at all times. Support the creation and maintenance of a safety culture
  • Provide coaching and development support to line managers with employee relations, performance and absence management issues
  • Produce monthly reports by site and other reports as required
  • Manager and development of Key Human Resource Processes and implementation
  • Management and maintenance of key facilities contracts
  • Management and execution of key payroll functions
  • Management of company recruitment process
  • Work closely with all managers at allocated sites and across the organisation as required
  • Develop and deliver local training as required.
  • To support training through needs analysis, identification of suitable providers
  • Develop their personal expertise on the latest legislation and business practice

Skills and experience required:

  • CIPD qualified
  • Business strategies experience
  • Minimum 3 years in similar role
  • Experience of change management
  • Knowledge and experience in setting up full in-house HR function
  • Good understanding of Payroll, qualifications would be an advantage
  • Strong minded
  • Proactive with positive 'can do' attitude
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships across the business
  • Ability to prioritise workload, manage deadlines and perform under pressure
  • Good Microsoft Word and Excel skills
  • Full UK driving licence

Hours:

  • Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm

Salary and benefits:

  • £35,000 - £40,000
