Job Description

We are currently supporting the recruitment of an experienced In-house Recruitment Advisor within a forward thinking and highly skilled company to support their ongoing growth. Experience of working within an engineering / technical working environment is essential.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Ensuring exceptional communication with all candidates at every stage of the recruitment process
  • Actively promoting the company employment brand and values internally and externally
  • Working with hiring managers to produce job descriptions and sourcing plans for all vacancies
  • Providing advice and guidance to hiring managers on market conditions and recruitment best practice
  • Posting jobs to job sites and social media as appropriate
  • Actively sourcing/headhunting candidates through CV databases and social media channels
  • Shortlisting candidates for review by the hiring managers
  • Liaising with the hiring managers to obtain CV and interview feedback
  • Conducting telephone and face to face interviews, assessing candidates' capabilities and fit for their company culture and values
  • Managing the offer process, including salary negotiations with candidates
  • Overseeing the on-boarding process for new starters, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout
  • New starter inductions
  • Updating and maintaining the Applicant Tracking System

Skills and experience required:

  • Minimum of 3-4 years' experience of working within an in-house recruitment / RPO role preferred
  • Experience of working within an engineering /IT/Technical environment
  • Excellent working knowledge of Excel and other MS packages
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Working within a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible and adaptable - Some travel to other sites will be required
  • Experience of working with an applicant tracking system
  • Understanding of social media
  • Confident persona
  • Build good strong relationships with managers

Salary and benefits:

  • Circa £30K + excellent benefits

Working hours:

  • Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm (1 hour lunch)
  • 40 hours per week
