Job Description

We are recxruiting for an experienced Internal Account Coordinator with strong customer focus and attention to detail required to join our busy trade sales team. Working in a fast paced environment with an allocated customer base, the candidate will be dealing with incoming calls, accurately processing orders in a timely fashion, and looking after their allocated customers whilst maintaining excellent customer service. To work closely alongside the existing team to ensure KPI targets are met. Team work is essential for this role, but the candidate also needs to be able to operate independently in their own role.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Overseeing and being responsible for an allocated group of customers
  • Accurately inputting, processing and overseeing domestic trade orders
  • Liaising with factories, customers, and other internal departments
  • Monitoring and coordinating delivery of products to trade customers
  • Ensuring final invoice prices are correct on all orders
  • Handling of, and dealing with, inbound calls to the department
  • Calculating prices and providing some technical support on the products
  • Ensuring prompt and accurate filing and archiving of customer orders and correspondence
  • Logging order statistics for reporting purposes and feeding back to line manager
  • Maintenance of electronic filing systems and associated administration tasks
  • Providing office based support for customer queries
  • Maintain a professional manner at all times
  • Ensure and maintain the department targets and KPI's are achieved
  • Coordinating feedback and escalation of problems to the line manager

Skills and experience required:

  • Proven customer service background, ideally with telephone based experience
  • Understanding and experience of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Numerical ability to be able to work with prices and technical product information
  • Proactive and highly organised
  • Strong time management, planning skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Able to work under pressure to deliver a high standard of service
  • Able to work accurately and efficiently with data, while maintaining attention to detail
  • The ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Able to plan and priorities workload efficiently and effectively
  • Able to work and integrate well with the existing team
  • Must have a full UK driving licence, access to own vehicle and be in a position to reliably commute

Working hours:

  • Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 5.00pm (30 mins lunch)
  • Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm (30 mins lunch)

Salary and benefits:

  • £18,000 per annum
  • 25 days annual holiday + bank holidays
