Job Description
Our client, a market leading manufacturer of precision engineered fastenings, is looking for an Internal Sales Account Executive to join their expanding, dynamic sales team. Responsible for business development, and the management and development of a number of key customer accounts.
The role will involve performing a variety of sales activities including handling and processing customer enquiries and orders whilst providing a high level of service, and identifying opportunities for new business wins.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Promote and sell the company's range of aerospace fasteners to new and existing customers
- Make outbound calls to promote the company's product offering to prospective customers
- Process and action incoming customer enquiries, and convert into sales
- Prepare pricing quotations and negotiate with customers to win orders
- Liaise with key accounts to develop relationships and identify new opportunities
- Manage complex customer needs, and handle complaints
- Attend and conduct business review meetings with key clients
- Working to performance and activity targets
Skills and experience required:
- Previous sales experience in a targeted role is essential
- Experience in a telephone based sales role in manufacturing would be advantageous
- Great customer skills and a good rapport builder
- Confident, target driven and motivated by sales
- Able to think on your feet, and a good problem solver
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
- Computer literate with a good knowledge of Excel
- French or German speaking would be an advantage for communicating with European customers
Salary and benefits:
- £22,000 - £24,000
