Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Research & Office Manager in Leicestershire. This role consists of assisting the Land Team in identifying suitable opportunities, and develop and establish working relationships with land owners to initiate site appraisals for potential development sites.

The successful candidate will support the resident Surveyor and provide technical research and analysis of existing approved land along with the composition of compliant suitability reports.

This will be a busy and varied position and a fantastic opportunity to work in a great environment with fun, hard-working people. Candidates ideally will be Degree educated and keen to learn.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Accurately and efficiently support the advisers to enable the achievement of targets
  • Preparing information / comparisons for analysis
  • 50% research and data capture
  • Data entry
  • Establish strong client relationships
  • Setting of appointments with land owners
  • Ensure all compliance paperwork is complete and in order
  • Website content management
  • Responsible for SEO
  • Copy typing
  • Accurate electronic filing
  • Land / property experience would be desirable but not essential

Skills and experience required:

  • Educated to Degree level
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Numeracy
  • Highly organised
  • Confident
  • Excellent communicator both written and verbal
  • Competent in MS Office packages - to include advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • In-depth understanding of compliance

Salary and benefits:

  • £20,000 - £23,000 dependent on experience (pro rata for part time)
