Job Description

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Assist the Trade Marketing Manager in shoot planning, critical paths, model sourcing and casting, budget admin, shoot attendance, image selection, proofing of retouched imagery and the naming and filing of imagery
  • Assist with content, production and development of all seasonal brochures and marketing materials, including critical paths, writing of copy platforms, briefing agencies, proof reading, obtaining print quotes and press passing print
  • Assist with content, production and development of the seasonal digital catalogues
  • Assist the Trade Marketing Manager in retailer marketing activities and in-store POS for key national account customers and independent suppliers
  • Develop and manage relationships internally across departments and externally with suppliers and agencies
  • To be continually immersed in the industry, identifying and reporting on competitor activity

Skills and experience required:

  • Excellent organisation and project management skills essential, with ability to multitask and work to tight deadlines within peak periods
  • Attention to detail is a must
  • Proof reading experience is essential
  • An editorial eye for copy and creative writing skills are desirable
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • To be able to contribute fresh and innovative ideas
  • Knowledge and understanding of design programmes such as Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator is desirable but training can be provided
  • Knowledge and understanding of photography retouching is desirable but training can be provided
  • Press passing experience is desirable but training can be provided

Hours of work:

  • Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 5pm
  • Friday 8.30am - 3pm

Salary and benefits:

  • £16,000 - £17,000
  • 25 days annual holiday
