Duties and responsibilities:

  • Assist the Trade Marketing Manager throughout the photography and shooting process, right through to image selection and proofing
  • Assist with content, production and development of all seasonal brochures
  • Writing of copy and ensuring all work is proof read to a high standard
  • Liaising with external agencies and obtaining print quotes
  • Assist with the production and development of seasonal digital catalogues
  • Assist the Trade Marketing Manager in retailer marketing activities for key national account customers
  • Managing and contacting external suppliers and agencies
  • Develop industry knowledge and identifying competitor activity, in order to create analysis reports
  • Develop and manage relationships internally across departments and externally with suppliers

Skills and experience required:

  • 1 year experience in a similar role is preferable
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A transferrable degree is desirable, such as Marketing/Journalism/Fashion Communications
  • Proof reading experience is essential
  • Proofing re-touching for artwork is desirable but training will be provided
  • Press passing experience is desirable but training will be provided
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • The ability to contribute fresh and innovative ideas
  • Passionate about the industry

Hours of work:

  • Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 5pm
  • Friday 8.30am - 3pm

Salary and benefits:

  • Up to £17,000
  • 25 days annual holiday
  • Pension scheme
