Job Description

To be successful in this role you will need to be committed, reliable and hardworking with a positive and proactive approach to work.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Use copywriting and proof reading skills to write collateral for company website
  • Use the in-house CMS to develop and maintain the website
  • Monitor and report on website activity using Google analytics and provide analysis on campaign activity
  • Support inhouse divisions with campaigns, surveys and updates to marketing collateral as required
  • Liaise with third party suppliers, including designers and printers
  • Develop use of Social Media including Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn and develop local PR
  • Develop web activity in line with overall marketing strategy and budgets - advertising, PR, events, and implement online SEO/PPC strategy to drive take up of products and services
  • Undertake and provide relevant in-depth market, industry and competitive research and analysis
  • Build and maintain local and national media contacts, writing and distributing regular press releases
  • Take responsibility for updating the company intranet page with relevant marketing activity

Skills and experience required:

  • A marketing qualification or background is desired
  • Strong administration and organisational skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Knowledge of graphics packages such as Adobe Illustrator and InDesign
  • Ability to work alone or within a team
  • Friendly and approachable
