Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a passionate and highly organised Marketing Assistant to join our client, a leading feed manufacturer based in Northamptonshire. You will be responsible for driving the production of marketing materials, delivering an exciting calendar of activity, and providing support to the Marketing department. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a supportive team in a wide and varied marketing role.

Initially this is a 6-month contract but could lead to a permanent position for the right candidate. The client is ideally looking for someone who is immediately available.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Deliver projects and act as the liaison point with suppliers, printers, agencies and designers
  • Manage the production of marketing materials, including leaflets, e-newsletters and packaging materials
  • To assist with the co-ordination of UK trade shows and events
  • Create packaging/materials across a number of the clients' brands
  • Communicate with manufacturing, warehouse, technical and sales teams on their requirements
  • Updating content to company website
  • Copy checking all marketing collateral prior to production
  • Work with designers on the creation of adverts for trade press magazines
  • General administration duties to support the marketing team

Skills and experience required:

  • 2 years previous marketing experience is desirable
  • Degree level qualification or equivalent in marketing would be advantageous
  • Experience writing and checking copy
  • Proven ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines
  • Well organised and self-motivated
  • A positive attitude and conscientious team player
  • An innovative and creative approach
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail

Salary and benefits:
