Job Description

Our client is an established financial organisation, with an enviable reputation in their field. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a motivated, energetic and driven marketing team.

Due to a recent restructure, an opportunity has become available for a Marketing Manager, who will work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager and be involved with setting and implementing the marketing plan. The role would suit an experienced Marketing Manager, or an ambitious Marketing Executive who is looking for the next step in their career.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Use copywriting and proof reading skills to write and evaluate marketing collateral and web pages
  • Use the in-house Content Management System to develop and maintain the website
  • Monitor and report on website activity using Google analytics and provide analysis on campaign activity
  • Use in-house design programmes to make changes to collateral and web pages
  • Update and maintain product content for web pages
  • Support product teams with campaigns and surveys
  • Liaise with third party suppliers including designers and printers
  • Develop use of social media including Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn and develop local PR
  • Develop and deliver digital marketing activity - advertising, PR, DM, promotions and events - and implement web channel SEO/PPC strategy to drive online take up of products and services
  • Undertake and provide relevant in-depth market, industry and competitive research and analysis
  • Raise the profile through sponsorship, local community activity and events
  • Build and maintain local and national media contacts, writing and distributing regular press releases
  • Manage associated charitable foundation promotions, develop and maintaining literature and web pages

Skills and experience required:

  • Marketing qualification and background required
  • Financial services experience, and understanding of regulatory practices is also essential
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good administration and organisational skills with a high attention to detail
  • Knowledge of graphics packages eg. Microsoft, Adobe Illustrator, In Design, etc.
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Ad-Words and Campaign Master
  • Creative thinking, friendly and approachable, flexible and adaptable
