Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Manager to work with our client, a specialist bank dedicated to help SMEs within the UK grow by providing exceptional services within commercial property loan lending and commercial savings.

The Marketing Manager will work closely with the Head of Marketing and be involved with setting, implementing and delivering the marketing plan. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a motivated, energetic and driven marketing team and would suit an experienced Marketing Manager, or an ambitious Marketing Executive who is looking for the next step in their career.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Contribute to developing and delivering the marketing strategy
  • Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of the customer and their associated customer journey
  • Develop and implement marketing plans for specific product areas
  • Manage and deliver multiple marketing campaigns, across different channels and target audiences
  • Identify and manage product and/or regulatory requirements
  • Compile reports to provide feedback and analysis on campaign activity
  • Undertake and provide relevant in-depth market, industry and competitive research and analysis
  • Evaluate product performance
  • Manage and develop direct reports

Skills and experience required:

  • Significant lending product management experience, and understanding of regulatory practices
  • Wider financial services marketing experience is also desirable
  • Broad marketing skillset across online and offline channels
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer first approach
  • Self-motivated, analytical and results orientated
  • Clear ability to plan and prioritise to ensure targets are achieved or exceeded

Salary and benefits:

  • £40,000 - £45,000
  • Bonus + excellent benefits package
