Job Description

We are currently supporting the recruitment of a Marketing Officer to join the Engagement and Communications team for our client, a not-for-profit organisation. The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Marketing Officer and be responsible for creating departmental marketing project plans, and planning and facilitating high-quality marketing materials.

This is a 12 month fixed term contract which could potentially lead to a permanent position for the right candidate.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Proactively respond to cross-department marketing requests
  • Implement marketing activities and campaigns that support the objectives of the organisation
  • Develop, devise and implement an integrated marketing project plan in specified international markets
  • Plan and facilitate the production of high-quality marketing materials and communication tools, which will help generate take-up of the organisation's services across the UK and internationally.
  • Project manage and deliver multi-channel marketing activities, including targeted campaigns, marketing collateral, projects and initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal departments to identify, plan and develop marketing initiatives
  • Maintain the brand and ensure that all communications conform to brand guidelines.
  • Develop, devise and implement an integrated marketing project plan in specified international markets
  • Report on the effectiveness of marketing activity and recommend how to improve impact and ROI.

Skills and experience required:

  • Professional marketing qualification to degree level or equivalent is desirable
  • Previous experience working in a not-for-profit or charitable organisation
  • Sound knowledge of marketing activities using the full marketing mix
  • Experience of working across multiple channels both on and offline
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly organised, driven, professional, enthusiastic and self-motivated
