Job Description

We are currently supporting the recruitment of an experienced Master Data Steward for our client based in Kettering. To be responsible for the accurate input of key data (Master Data) into their ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics AX2012) to drive effective transactions and reporting throughout the business. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a well-known established global company.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Create all Master Data within AX2012 to standards, governances. KPI's and lead times to ensure robust data is maintained within the system
  • Be the first point of contact for all master data enquiries within AX2012 to help business functions resolve ad hoc data issues
  • Help identify and propose process or system improvement opportunities
  • Create and maintain up-to date master data SOP's communicating any changes to relevant stakeholders
  • Perform data cleansing activities
  • Support line manager in testing of IT system changes
  • Being pro-active in all team meetings by contributing in any discussions to ensure delivery of departmental and business objectives

Skills and experience required:

  • Prior experience of data management within an ERP environment essential
  • Prior experience of Microsoft Dynamics AX2012 is desirable
  • Data entry experience is essential
  • Good Excel spreadsheet skills is essential
  • Confident dealing with numerical data
  • Good communication skills and ability to quickly establish positive rapport with stakeholders and other project team members
  • Ability to present information logically and professionally
  • Administration experience highly desirable
  • Highly organised with proven ability to work to tight deadlines
  • High attention to detail

Hours:

  • Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm
