The successful candidate will be working across a variety of online marketing channels and brands, in order to promote online business.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Maintaining the website by ensuring new content is regularly created so it is relevant and up to date
  • Writing all product copy on sites
  • Editing and uploading images for use on content pages, homepages and category banners
  • SEO - optimising all content and implementing changes recommended to increase organic visibility/rankings
  • Create and run brand competitions online
  • Creating, testing and despatching marketing email campaigns
  • Work closely with the PR and wider Marketing team to ensure all online, offline and PR activity is aligned
  • Weekly reporting of website and email campaign performance
  • Attending weekly trading meetings
  • Managing social channels: Facebook, Twitter & Instagram
  • Working with third party agencies to raise and fix any online issues
  • Supporting the Ecommerce Manager & Online Marketing Executives on website build projects

Skills and experience required:

  • Creative with strong copywriting skills and an eye for graphic design
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Confident working on your own and as part of a team
  • Organised, with the ability to work to deadlines and show initiative
  • Good communicator
  • Experience in marketing and/or the retail/fashion industry. Experience of online marketing would be very advantageous but not essential
  • A marketing degree is desirable
  • Copywriting experience
  • Confident in using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Preferably experience of the following; website CMS, HTML, Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Google Analytics
