Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity to work within an interesting, established and rapidly growing establishment based in Market Harborough. Our client is looking for a professional, enthusiastic, commercially driven and focused individual to take on a new role as Operations and Project Manager. The role will give operational support to the Chief Executive in the delivery of the associations strategy. To manage the associations team and support their delivery of projects and events on a day to day basis.

The successful candidate will have experience in Project Management and presenting to Board level. If you like to make a difference and give operational support direct to a Chief Executive and to deliver key projects, we are interested in speaking with you. You will be able to work within a fast moving and changing environment on multiple projects. Some travel will be required in this role.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Operational support to the Chief Executive
  • Delivery of management information as required by the Chief Executive
  • Oversight, management and reporting of budgets
  • Oversight of team projects and events in line with the associations objectives
  • Delivery of own key projects
  • Day to day management of the association
  • Support for budget setting
  • Operational budget and management and reporting
  • Business and commercial support to the association
  • Support the team to deliver the associations KPI's
  • Develop with the Chief Executive efficiencies in the associations costs
  • Propose to the Chief Executive new business strategies to assist in the growing of the association
  • Any other reasonable request from the Chief Executive and or the Associations Operation Board

Skills and experience required:

  • Proven business management skills ideally within an SME environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Manage own workload
  • Solid understanding of budget management
  • Experience of delivering 1st class management reports
  • Ability to deliver and manage multiple projects and effectively
  • Strong people skills
  • Competent with MS Office packages and systems in general
  • Strong attention to detail

Working hours:

  • Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm

Salary and benefits:
