Job Description

Are you looking for a challenging and varied position which will utilise your PA skills? Do you have excellent communication and organisational skills? If so, our client, an established and successful company based in Melton Mowbray is recruiting for a PA supporting two Senior Board Directors and would like to hear from you. Suitable candidates will be flexible and adaptable.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage the day to day activity of two GEB Directors, anticipating their needs without prompting
  • Manage diaries with flexibility and problem-solving skills to adjust and prioritise schedules based on last minute changes
  • Manage emails; reply, action and filter as appropriate
  • Act as first point of contact; manage telephone calls and enquiries by filtering and redirecting as appropriate
  • Collate reports for monthly GEB and business board meetings, along with briefing papers and presentations
  • Coordinate customer and family site visits and prepare itineraries
  • Liaise with people across the business including directors, customers and supplier
  • Arrange travel and hotel accommodation
  • Source and book meeting venues
  • Organise internal and external events
  • Set up conference calls and VC meetings
  • Prepare employee contracts and offer letters and other confidential documents as required
  • Manage monthly credit card statements and cash expenses for submission
  • Raise purchase orders and authorise invoices within authorised sign-off limits
  • Record holidays and absence
  • Maintain office systems including data management and filing
  • Order office stationery and kitchen supplies
  • Arrange company car servicing and cleaning

Skills and experience required:

  • Minimum of 7 years PA experience in a commercially focused role is essential
  • Excellent prioritisation and organisational skills
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written
  • Have ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Advanced knowledge of all Microsoft packages
  • Have a flexible approach to work priorities and location

Working hours:

  • Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm (30mins lunch) 40 hrs
