Job Description

Our client is seeking a part time Accounts Assistant to complete a maternity contract for a period of up to 12 months.

The successful candidate will be working for an ambitious and dynamic company that works with a range of leading global brands. To be successful for this role you must be a driver, due to the location not being on a public transport route.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Daily processing of supplier invoices/matching against PO's and posting of direct debit payments
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Supplier query resolution
  • Completion of expenses (monthly)
  • Petty cash
  • Credit card reconciliations / posting
  • Credit control (daily)
  • Updating supplier and client contact details on Sage
  • Generating supplier invoices and statements
  • Raising and issuing purchase orders

Skills and experience required:

  • Experience of Sage 200 Accounts desirable
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
  • Ability to prioritise
  • Previous experience of working in a transactional sales/purchase ledger role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Car driver essential


  • Monday to Friday 25 - 30 hours per week

Salary and benefits:

  • £21,000 - £23,000 dependent upon experience (pro-rata)
