Job Description
Our client is seeking a part time Accounts Assistant to complete a maternity contract for a period of up to 12 months.
The successful candidate will be working for an ambitious and dynamic company that works with a range of leading global brands. To be successful for this role you must be a driver, due to the location not being on a public transport route.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Daily processing of supplier invoices/matching against PO's and posting of direct debit payments
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Supplier query resolution
- Completion of expenses (monthly)
- Petty cash
- Credit card reconciliations / posting
- Credit control (daily)
- Updating supplier and client contact details on Sage
- Generating supplier invoices and statements
- Raising and issuing purchase orders
Skills and experience required:
- Experience of Sage 200 Accounts desirable
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Ability to prioritise
- Previous experience of working in a transactional sales/purchase ledger role
- Excellent communication skills
- Car driver essential
Hours:
- Monday to Friday 25 - 30 hours per week
Salary and benefits:
- £21,000 - £23,000 dependent upon experience (pro-rata)
- On-site car parking
- 23 days annual holiday + 8 bank holidays (pro-rata)
