Job Description

Our client, a successful manufacturing organisation, is seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their friendly team on a 3-month temporary basis.

To be successful in your application you must have excellent working knowledge of Sage 200.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Matching, batching and coding of supplier invoices and entering them on Sage 200
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Allocate and deliver items via Purchase Order Processing on Sage
  • Preparation of payment runs (BACS)
  • Reconciliation of expenses and fuel accounts
  • Working closely with external suppliers and resolving queries

Skills and experience required:

  • Minimum of 2 years previous experience within a similar accounts role
  • Excellent working knowledge of Sage Line 200 (Essential)
  • Numerate with a good eye for detail
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment and support other areas when needed
  • Good working knowledge of Excel is desirable


  • Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm (30 mins lunch) - part-time hours will be considered

Salary and benefits:

  • Up to £22,000
