Job Description

A superb opportunity has arisen for a front-line customer service administrator to join an established and successful company based in Corby. You will be based in the busy reception area of this professional organisation where you will be meeting and greeting visitors and answering the telephone. Other responsibilities will include administration support to various departments. The ideal candidate will be IT literate, personable, confident, focussed, organised and willing to learn. You will be proactive with an eye for detail.

Due to the requirements of the hiring organisation, applicants should be immediately available. The role is an ongoing temporary position with the opportunity to go to permanent for the right candidate.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Check invoices against official orders before adding to system
  • Liaising with other sites and employees from operatives via telephone
  • Liaising with sub-contractors regarding orders issued and deal with any queries
  • Maintaining and uploading documents to management system accurately
  • Answering incoming customer calls in a timely and professional approach
  • Meet and greet
  • Issue visitor badges
  • Accepting deliveries
  • Franking outgoing mail
  • General housekeeping of reception area
  • Deal with incoming faxes

  • Monday to Friday 9:00 am - 5.00pm with one hour for lunch

Salary and benefits:

  • £13,000 - £14,500 per annum
