Job Description

As the Reservations/Sales Office Manager, you will be a key member of the team, managing and motivation your team of people, working to a high level of detail, making vital business decisions, managing the day to day detail of enquiries/booking process and aftercare, development of the team, reporting and completion of set KPI's, managing targets and budgets.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Manage Team scheduling through Fourth and HR requirements
  • People recruitment and development to agreed company standards
  • Post and check bills for events
  • Monitor and audit Delphi activity
  • Develop non-system skills of EC team
  • PDP for event and res team members
  • Train the team on non-system skills
  • Manage day to day activity of taking event bookings
  • Accept business in line with event/bedroom/treatment/restaurant sales strategy
  • Manage day to day activity of the booking cycle
  • Understand and enforce the agreed bedrooms/events/treatment and restaurant sales strategies
  • To undertake KPI reporting to the agreed company standard

Skills and experience required:

  • Must have a high level of attention to detail and exceptional organisation skills
  • Must be absolutely passionate about working with a team, maximising revenues and developing people
  • This person will have experience with a busy events office as a senior coordinator/office manager, hotel experience is preferred, working with Opera, Delphi, Ez Runner, Restaurant booking systems and Fourth Hospitality
  • Proven ability to maximise business levels, develop people and be analytical with KPI's and reporting
  • Be a good positive team leader and bring the best out in people
  • Excellent customer care


  • Monday to Friday - 45 hours

Salary and benefits:

  • £22,000 - £25,000
  • 20 days annual holiday + bank holidays rising to 25days after 5 years of service
