Job Description

Our client is a successful design agency with an enviable reputation in their field, and who pride themselves on providing manufacturers and retailers all over the world with contemporary designs and prints, whilst offering a high level of customer service at all times. They are looking for an engaging and enthusiastic Sales Account Executive to join their close knit team based in Leicester.

As the successful candidate, you will be liaising with an established customer base and travel internationally in order to sell artwork and grow and develop strong, professional relationships with customers.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Working with the given tools provided to manage accounts both online and offline
  • Develop customer and agent relationships in the UK and within your allocated overseas region
  • Promoting the online presence of the business to all customers, and conducting an analysis of the website to understand customer behaviour and expand ROI
  • Regularly liaising with global customers via email and over the phone
  • Organising and managing your diary, arranging meetings with UK and overseas clients
  • Attend exhibitions and shows to promote the company's product offering
  • Providing high levels of customer service to ensure effective account management
  • Extensive travel is required, you will be expected to make a minimum 10 trips per year outside of the UK
  • Working to targets and KPIs as set by the Sales Director

Skills and experience required:

  • Must have a full, UK driving licence
  • Must have a valid passport and have the flexibility and willingness to travel
  • Educated to Degree level in design, or possessing equivalent design based qualification
  • 12-18 months experience in working in a fashion retail or design environment is desirable
  • Experience in a customer facing role, with either direct or indirect selling experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
  • Self motivated, highly organised and ambitious
  • Excellent relationship builder, personable and determined
  • A portfolio weighing 32kg containing artwork will be taken to every meeting, so a physical condition enabling this is essential

Salary and benefits:

  • £20,000 salary, realistic OTE of £28,000-£32,000
  • Extensive training provided
