Job Description

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Sales Administrator to work for a small, friendly and innovative communications company based in Market Harborough.

Suitable candidates will have a professional, confident and enthusiastic attitude to work, be keen to learn and willing to take on any tasks required of them.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Answering the telephones, dealing with enquiries or referring the caller to the appropriate colleague
  • Obtaining prices for products from suppliers
  • Ensure stock is available for engineers
  • Obtain quotes for clients and follow up with clients
  • Diary management and email management - includes Directors
  • Arrange appointments with clients for Director to attend
  • Coordinate website - content - liaise with specialists to do this
  • Filing and general administrative duties
  • Organisation of office

Skills and experience required:

  • Extensive prior administrative experience
  • Experience of liaising confidently and effectively with suppliers, customers and colleagues
  • Competent in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills
  • Demonstrate a confident, professional and helpful telephone manner
  • Proficient in the production of clear written correspondence, with grammatical accuracy
  • Respect for confidentiality and integrity
  • Strong organisational skills including proven ability to prioritise and work to deadlines


  • Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.30pm (1-hour lunch)

Salary & benefits:
