Job Description

Our client is a world leading, adventure travel company, who have an enviable reputation in their field.

This is an exciting time to join a fast pace industry, looking to expand their already successful sales team. As a Sales Advisor, you will provide excellent customer service in order to meet, or exceed sales targets set by the business.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Answering inbound calls and actively following up on customer enquiries
  • Promoting the products and maximising revenue with each customer
  • Build strong, professional relationships with customers and offer a high standard of customer service at all times
  • Understand, challenge and assist to improve the customer experience, and suggest improvements where possible
  • Make sure all customer notes are updated on the system and liaise with other departments to notify them of important changes
  • Answer all inbound calls politely and in compliance with the Data Protection Act
  • Comply with shift patterns and adhere to the set roster
  • Attend team meetings, training sessions and scheduled 1-2-1s, ensuring you are fully prepared
  • Assist with administration or tasks requested by your Team Leader

Skills and experience required:

  • Minimum 6 months sales experience and dealing with customers
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience in working to targets and meeting deadlines
  • Excellent IT skills, including all Microsoft packages
  • Highly organised, with good time keeping
  • Flexibility to work in shifts
  • An interest in the travel industry
  • Self-motivated

Hours of work:

  • Shift patterns will vary
  • Opening hours are Monday-Friday 9am - 7pm, Saturday 9am - 5.30pm and Sunday 10am - 4pm

Salary and benefits:

  • £16,000 per annum + commission OTE £5,000
