This is an exciting opportunity to join a reputable business, who are looking for high calibre individuals to join their successful and expanding Northampton sales team. Our client has been established for over a century and has an enviable reputation within the industry of Estate Agency.

As the successful candidate, you will be working as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service and achieve sales targets.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Build strong, professional relationships with all vendors, applicants and potential buyers
  • Offer a high level of customer service at all times
  • Strive to meet/exceed sales targets set by the Sales Management team
  • Ensure all administrative duties are completed to a high standard
  • Help grow the business through encouraging valuations, canvassing, prospecting and obtaining referrals
  • Attend and contribute to internal meetings
  • Attend valuations when requested and document all information on the database
  • Take photographs, prepare floor-plans and talk to the vendors about the special features of their property
  • Market and promote properties for sale via appropriate channels
  • Regularly liaise with applicants to discuss available properties and arrange viewings
  • Conduct property viewings with potential buyers and provide feedback to vendors
  • Extract offers and liaise between vendors and buyers, negotiating in the best interest of clients whilst ensuring the price agreed is acceptable to both parties
  • Promote financial services and recommend solicitors to vendors and buyers
  • Monitor and progress sales to ensure they proceed to completion

Skills and experience required:

  • Previous Estate Agency sales experience, with a proven track record is desirable
  • Must have the ability to build strong, professional relationships
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
  • Excellent personal presentation, timekeeping and a professional manner is essential
  • Proven skills in negotiation
  • Self-motivated and driven by sales
  • A full driving license is essential; own car is desirable

Hours of Work:

  • Office hours 8.30am - 6pm (no Sunday working)

Salary and benefits

  • £20,000 - £25,000 + OTE dependent on experience
